What to expect at Pathway Fellowship Church

The Believers Form a Community

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.

⁴³ A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. ⁴⁴ And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. ⁴⁵ They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. ⁴⁶ They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—⁴⁷ all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

1. We will always study to increase our knowledge and understanding of God’s Word. We will teach the true and eternal Word of God as it was written and intended for all humanity.

• We will do our best to live out the Word of God in our personal lives and in the ministry of this church. We ask that you do your best to learn and live out the Word of God in your lives as well.
  
  We choose grace over the judgment of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

• We ask that you also give us grace as we do our best to minister to you and others and that you choose to be gracious with others in the Pathway family.
  
  We acknowledge that this property and this mansion were provided by God and that it is not our building, but a God-given sanctuary.

• We are committed to being good stewards of this sanctuary and ask that you assist us in caring for it.
  
  We understand that making disciples of Jesus is essential and that nobody can be disciplined by attending church for one hour a week, therefore we practice spiritual disciplines and attend Bible studies and small groups to deepen our understanding of God’s Word, increase our ability to listen to The Holy Spirit and live in obedience as image bearers of God, our Father.

• We ask that you continue to grow as a true disciple of Jesus Christ, and you would seek God, pray, study His Word, and attend Bible Studies, and/or small groups so that you may grow in the knowledge and understanding of Christ and The Word of God.
  
  We acknowledge and understand that a church is not a building or a place, but a body of Christ’s Followers who gather together to encourage, support, and share life together, as one, in Christ.

• We will make every effort to get to know you, come alongside you, support you, and encourage you. We ask that you do your best to get to know others in order to provide encouragement and support for your brothers and sisters in Christ.
  
  We recognize that your giving is a sacred sacrifice to God and we will remain diligent to practice good stewardship of the tithes and offerings and manage this resource with integrity and accountability.

• We ask that you give to God as He calls you by supporting the ministry of Pathway Fellowship Church.
  
  We recognize that Christ is the Head of this church and that we must follow the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit in all things to accomplish the will of God for this church.

• We ask that you also give your life fully to the leadership of Christ and do your best to follow the Holy Spirit in all things, in every situation and every relationship.

Colossians 3:15–17  Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. ¹⁶ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. ¹⁷ And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
